Method of Payment

  • An order can be processed by phone [ Australia (08) 9848 1277] where payment is made using one of the following credit or debit cards, , MASTERCARD, VISA, and BANKCARD.

  • All credit card/debit card transactions are subject to validation and are authorised by your card issuer. If your credit card payment is rejected, then your order will not be fulfilled. You will be contacted by email or phone and if we do not receive a reply from you within 5 working days we will reserve the right to cancel your order.

  • Banking details for a direct deposit option can be given on request.

  • Payment can also be made by Money Order/BANK CHEQUE  and goods dispatched on receipt.

Acceptance of Order

  • An order is deemed to be placed when either:

  • an order is placed electronically through this website;

  • a fax arrives at (AUS) 08 9848 1277;

  • an order form is posted to Local Heroes;

  • an order is accepted over the telephone.

  • We reserve the right not to accept an order, in which case you will be notified within 7 days of receipt.

Delivery Policy

  • Local Heroes will dispatch your order within 10 working days of it being placed subject to credit card authorisation and stock availability. If there is going to be a delay for any reason our Customer Services team will contact you by telephone or by email. If you have selected items with different availability, then we will dispatch when the item is ready.

  • All orders are sent out by Australia Post. When placing your order, we automatically calculate the cost of sending your package based on the total weight of the goods ordered and the delivery address given.  Postal delivery within Western Australia is free.

  • The customer is liable for payment of any local country import duty and/or sales tax levied at the time of entry into the country of destination. We have no control of these charges and cannot predict what they might be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

  • While delivery times may vary, goods will normally be delivered within 10 working days. In spite of all our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays in delivery. If you believe the delivery is severely overdue, please send our Customer Services team an email or telephone us so we can take appropriate action. We cannot be held liable for any late delivery or failure to deliver except in circumstances of direct negligence.

Return Policy

  • You can cancel your order at any time provided that your order has not been dispatched. Please contact our Customer Service Line for more information. Freighting costs of any returned goods remain the responsibility of the customer.

  • As we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit, all returned goods are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us. We strongly recommend that you use Recorded Delivery, Registered Post or your local equivalent when returning an item or items to us.

  • We can only guarantee availability while stocks last. If the item you order is temporarily out of stock we will contact you via email or phone within 5 working days of receipt of your order to advise you of any revised delivery dates for you to cancel or change your order.

faulty goods

  • If, when your order arrives, it has been damaged in transit or it appears faulty, please return the item/items to us and we will, subject to availability, replace the item/items immediately upon receipt. If stock is unavailable we will refund the full purchase price.
